Funny I.Q. Test

This I.Q.  (intelligence quotient) test consists of 4 questions and will tell you whether you are qualified to be a "professional". Scroll down for each answer. The questions are NOT that difficult.

But don't scroll down UNTIL you have answered the question!

1. How do you put a giraffe into a refrigerator?

The correct answer is: Open the refrigerator, put in the giraffe, and close the door. This question tests whether you tend to do simple things in an overly complicated way.

2. How do you put an elephant into a refrigerator?

Did you say, "Open the refrigerator, put in the elephant, and close the refrigerator?"
Wrong Answer.
Correct Answer: Open the refrigerator; take out the giraffe, put in the elephant and close the door. This tests your ability to think through the repercussions of your previous actions.

3. The Lion King is hosting an animal conference. All the animals attend..........except one. Which animal does not attend?

Correct Answer: The Elephant. The elephant is in the refrigerator. You just put him in there. This tests your memory.

Okay even if you did not answer the first three questions correctly, you still have one more chance to show your true abilities.

4. There is a river you must cross but it is inhabited by crocodiles, and you do not have a boat. How do you manage it?
Correct Answer: You jump into the river and swim across. Have you not been listening? All the crocodiles are attending the Animal Conference. This tests whether you learn quickly from your mistakes.

Got wrong the question number 1: You complicate the things

Got wrong the question number 2: You don’t  think of the repercussions of your previous actions.

Got wrong the question number 3: You have bad memory.

Got wrong the question number 4: You don’t learn from your mistakes.

According to Andersen Consulting Worldwide, around 90% of the professionals they tested got all questions wrong. But many preschoolers got several correct answers. So, if you got most wrong you’d better go back to pre-school!!!

Some Calvin jokes

For better reading I've put subtitles below the first two strips.

Subtitles:

Calvin: MOM! HEY MOM!
Mom: Calvin, stop yelling across the house! If you want to talk to me, walk over to the living room, where I am!
Calvin: I stepped in Dog Shit, where’s the hose?

Subtitles:

Test: When did the Pilgrims land at Plymouth Rock?
Calvin: 1620
Calvin writes on the test: As you can see, I've memorized this utterly useless fact long enouhg to pass a test question. I now intend to forget it forever. You've tought me nothing except how to cynically manipulate the system. Congratulations.
Calvin: They say the satisfaction of teaching makes up for the lousy pay.

Vocabulary:

Pilgrim: A pilgrim (from the Latin peregrinus) is a traveller (literally one who has come from afar) who is on a journey to a holy place. However, that name was applied to early settlers of the Plymouth Colony in present-day Plymouth, Massachusetts, United States. The colony, established in 1620, becomes the United States of America.

tought: past tense of the verb “to teach”.

lousy (adj) /ˈlaʊzi/ : bad, or unpleasant
                                  I’m a lousy singer.
                                  lousy weather
